Hey there reader! I’m sorry I haven’t posted for such a long time.  The thing is, assignments are all stacked up and I’m trying to finish them as soon as possible. It’s been a busy week.  I’ve written an article, a poem and few other write-ups as well but I’m not finding them good enough yet for you to read. So here is this new thing that I’m trying, as I conveniently get away with not posting on time, I thought of not waiting for one long poem or a write-up to  seem good enough. I’m going to put up haikus  or maybe letters to someone, book/movie reviews, snippets or short stories. I want my readers to get a palette to choose from and enjoy their time at my blog.

What’s a haiku you ask? A traditional Japanese haiku is a three line poem  with seventeen syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Often focusing on images from nature, haiku emphasizes simplicity, intensity and directness of expression.

So now that you know what a haiku is, here’s one to enjoy,  I tried to write it in my style, please feel free to comment below:

The aroma of coffee beans

Warm mug and jazz in the background
